Sponsorships

We support children and young people through sponsorships so that they can complete their school education and have a future.

Pokhara 2023: The two orphans Maya and Kismat have lost their father. He was addicted to alcohol, had difficulties providing for the family and eventually committed suicide. Maya and Kismat now live with their grandparents. So that they can continue to go to school, we have worked with Kopila Nepal a local NGO, and have launched a sponsorship project. Two sponsors from Germany have kindly agreed to finance the maintenance costs, education and teaching materials for the two orphans until the end of their school years. The siblings are now in 8th and 10th grade and we visited them in January 2024.
